Who Doesn't Love A Smoothie?

Everyone in our household loves drinking smoothies as a healthy snack or an 'on-the-go' breakfast option. So we always keep some cut up fruit in the freezer for this purpose.

One of our favourite smoothies is a 'Mango & Banana' one. I thought I would share our recipe with you.

What you need:

A Blender

2 x Peeled and cut up mangoes (preferably frozen over night)

1 x Banana peeled and cut up (again preferably frozen over night)

4 x Tablespoons Organic Plain Yoghurt (I use the low fat variety)

2 x Tablespoons Honey

1 x 250ml Coconut Water

I freeze the fruit to maintain their freshness but also so you don't have to necessarily use extra ice. The fruit act as ice in your smoothie!
